Jaimee Elizabeth Hunter is the founder and lead attorney of Elizabeth Hunter LLC, a Birmingham-based firm focused on criminal defense, civil rights, and personal injury law. Known for her direct, strategic advocacy and deep commitment to justice, Attorney Hunter draws from a personal and professional journey marked by resilience, determination, and firsthand understanding of the legal system.

Originally recognized for her academic excellence as a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, Ms. Hunter received a private scholarship to The Washington Center for Public Administration and Politics at just 17. She later earned a full academic scholarship to Howard University, graduating with honors in Administration of Justice in 2012. After college, she went on to earn her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville.

Before obtaining her law license, Attorney Hunter worked extensively behind the scenes in the personal injury field as both a pre-litigation and litigation paralegal. That foundation gave her a practical, client-first perspective that now defines her practice. After beginning her career as a Public Defender in Henry County, Georgia, and gaining experience in family law and injury litigation, she returned to Alabama to launch her own firm. Today, she is known for delivering efficient, solution-based representation rooted in empathy and tenacity.
