Biography
Kellie A. Furr brings a rare blend of legal intellect, environmental policy insight, and fearless advocacy to her civil litigation practice. A partner at Cauble, Furr & Beguin, LLP, Ms. Furr represents clients across a wide range of matters including personal injury, civil rights, elder abuse, contract disputes, and child sexual abuse cases. Known for her meticulous preparation and tenacious courtroom presence, she has built a strong reputation throughout Oregon for standing up to powerful institutions and securing justice for those harmed.
Originally from England and raised in South Carolina’s low country, Ms. Furr attended the College of Charleston before working as an environmental consultant. She later completed a dual-degree program, earning her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy (magna cum laude) from Vermont Law School in 2012. After graduation, she relocated west with her dog, Woody, and developed a thriving litigation practice in the Portland metro area.
Ms. Furr is driven by a commitment to advocacy and a fierce sense of fairness. Her diverse legal background allows her to navigate complex and emotionally sensitive cases with care, clarity, and resolve. She is a trusted voice in Oregon’s legal community—respected for both her strategic skill and human-centered approach.
Outside the courtroom, Ms. Furr is an accomplished powerlifter, fine artist, gardener, and aspiring tin whistle player (with a healthy sense of humor about it). She brings that same mix of focus, creativity, and determination to everything she does—making her one of Oregon’s most well-rounded and respected civil litigators.
