Sarah Jacobs is an accomplished Maryland attorney whose practice is dedicated to family law. She joined The Ruben Law Firm in the spring of 2021, bringing with her more than a decade of prior experience as a legal assistant and paralegal across multiple practice areas, including collections, bankruptcy, medical malpractice, and personal injury. Her extensive background in diverse areas of law has given her a comprehensive perspective and a compassionate understanding of her clients’ needs.

At The Ruben Law Firm, Ms. Jacobs focuses primarily on family law, handling matters such as divorce, custody, and related domestic cases with professionalism and care. Based out of the firm’s Westminster office, she proudly represents clients throughout the State of Maryland.

A lifelong resident of Carroll County, Ms. Jacobs values community, family, and service. She is deeply committed to helping Maryland families navigate challenging times with clarity and respect. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their beloved pets.

Throughout her career, Ms. Jacobs has been recognized for her outstanding work and dedication. Her honors include the Super Lawyer Rising Star Award (2016–2021, 2023–2025), America’s Most Honored Lawyers Award (2025), Top Attorneys in Maryland Award (2024–2025), and the Elite Lawyer Award (2024–2025). She also serves as a Volunteer Attorney with the Howard County Family Law Program, is a Mediator for the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, and has been a Notary Public for the State of Maryland since 2001.
