Steve Perez is a California-based immigration attorney with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. As the founder of Perez Law Group, Mr. Perez brings both legal knowledge and lived perspective to his work—shaped by a personal family history rooted in the immigrant experience.

Born and raised in Los Angeles to Mexican and Salvadoran parents, Mr. Perez was inspired by his family’s pursuit of the American Dream. This passion led to a career that began as an immigration paralegal and evolved into decades of commitment to immigration legal work. Which in turn, resulted in Mr. Perez opening his own 5 star rated, award winning law practice. He earned his Juris Doctor from Taft Law School in Orange County and holds a B.A. in Spanish and English Literature from the University of California, Riverside.

Mr. Perez is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He is a member of the California Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Mexican American Bar Association, and the Pasadena Bar Association. Throughout his career, he has assisted thousands of clients in achieving lawful status, family reunification, and long-term residency in the United States.
