Miguel Delgado is the founder at Delgado Injury Law. He was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 2004. Miguel has always been passionate about education and serving others, so he found that as an attorney, he could bring these two guiding principles together to make a difference for others.

Miguel Decided to become a lawyer in 2009, after seeing his friends and family losing their jobs and homes due to the 2008 financial and economic crisis. Miguel wanted to help make a difference for his community by advocating for them and ensuring they were understood and properly represented.

Miguel worked and studied full time for many years to achieve his dream of becoming a lawyer. He studied business administration at Community College of Southern Nevada and University of Phoenix. He was later accepted to UNLV Boyd School of Law, full time program.

His immigrant identity and his passion for justice brought Miguel to become President of the Nevada Justice Association and Vice President of La Voz student association while in Law School. Additionally, Miguel worked in a human rights project connected with the Culinary Union, and graduated from law school with pro bono honors. While in law school Miguel also participated in an internship with Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, as well as an externship with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.

After graduating from law school, Miguel worked as a law clerk for Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers, where he learned the ins-and-outs of the Nevada Workers Compensation System. This is where Miguel decided that he wanted to use his legal skills to represent and improve the lives of injured workers in the state of Nevada.

In 2018 Miguel joined a prestigious local injury firm and was tasked with building a workers compensation practice, which Miguel happily did. While working at that firm, Miguel helped recover approximately 3 million dollars in settlements for his clients.

In 2021, Miguel decided to open his own legal practice, and that is how Delgado Injury Law was born. Outside of the practice of law, Miguel likes to travel with his family, and to spend time with his wife and two daughters.
