What We Consider
Selection Is Based on the Full Professional Record
No single factor determines selection. Each candidate is considered in context, with criteria adapted to the relevant practice area, market, and award category.
Professional Standing
Licensure, disciplinary standing, professional history, and other available indicators of eligibility and reputation.
Practice Experience
Depth of experience, demonstrated focus, leadership, and sustained work within the relevant field.
Professional Reputation
Peer nominations, industry participation, credible third-party recognition, and reputation within the legal community.
Record of Work
Publicly available matters, outcomes, transactions, publications, leadership roles, and other evidence relevant to the candidate's practice.
Market Relevance
The attorney's or firm's standing within its local, regional, or national market, depending on the recognition category.
Nominations
What a Nomination Does
A nomination brings an attorney or law firm to MyLegalWin's attention and may provide useful context or supporting information for editorial review.
A nomination does not guarantee selection. Multiple nominations do not automatically improve a candidate's standing, and no purchase is required to nominate or be considered.

Recognition Is Selected. Directory Participation Is Optional.
MyLegalWin also offers paid annual directory profiles for attorneys and law firms. Directory participation is not required for award consideration and does not affect recognition decisions.
After selection, honorees may license a badge, order an award, or add a directory profile. Each is offered after the decision has been made, and none is a condition of it.
