Andrew D. Alpert is a founding partner of Alpert Schreyer LLC whose Maryland practice focuses on DUI/DWI and criminal defense. A former prosecutor in Charles and Prince George's Counties, he brings experience from both sides of a criminal case to his work representing people facing charges. Alpert's preparation includes board certification in DUI Defense Law through the National College for DUI Defense and training in the scientific evidence used in impaired-driving cases. His background includes field sobriety testing instruction and advanced study of alcohol and drug testing, subjects that can be central to evaluating a prosecution's evidence. A 1989 graduate of George Washington University Law School, Alpert earned his undergraduate degree at Franklin & Marshall College.
