Georgia D. Kramer is a Partner in the Family and Matrimonial Law practice group at Abrams Fensterman, LLP, working out of the White Plains office. She devotes her practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law, handling matters involving divorce, child support, custody, domestic violence, post-judgment enforcement, and visitation rights. Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, she was a founding member of a boutique family law firm in White Plains. With more than five decades of legal experience, Ms. Kramer is one of the most recognized matrimonial attorneys in the New York metropolitan area. She holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been designated a New York Metro Super Lawyer continuously since 2008. The American Institute of Family Law Attorneys named her one of the 10 Best Attorneys in New York, and Best Attorneys of America inducted her as a member. She received the AJC's 2013 Judge Learned Hand Award, the Corporate LiveWire Attorney of the Year award in 2014, and the Corporate LiveWire Global award in 2016. Ms. Kramer is a contributing author of Strategies for Family Law in New York (2012 ed., West/Thomson Reuters) and is an active member of the Westchester County Bar Association, Westchester Women's Bar Association, and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She earned her undergraduate degree from Barnard College and her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, where she served as editor of the NYU Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She also holds a Master of Law degree in Taxation from NYU.
