Lourdes Ferrer is the Founding Partner of Ferrer Law Group, where she provides legal representation on both transactional and litigation matters related to community association law, consumer protection, business law, real estate litigation, and commercial litigation. Her clients include homeowner and condominium associations, individual property owners, corporate business entities, real estate investors, and investment groups. Ms. Ferrer's practice has a strong emphasis on community association law and consumer protection, with deep expertise in the Condo Act, HOA Act, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Consumer Credit Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. A member of The Florida Bar since 2001, she has more than 23 years of focused Florida litigation practice and over 25 years in the legal industry overall. Prior to founding Ferrer Law Group in April 2012, Ms. Ferrer spent the first decade of her career at two of Florida's leading firms — including Conroy Simberg, one of the state's largest insurance defense firms, and Becker & Poliakoff, where she was appointed Managing Attorney overseeing collection and foreclosure handling for over 4,000 community associations across South Florida. Her work expanding that practice was featured in the South Florida Business Journal in 2011. Today, Ferrer Law Group delivers aggressive, individually tailored legal solutions — a deliberate departure from the one-size-fits-all approach of larger practices.
