Marcus J. Rael, Jr. is the Managing Partner of Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he has led the firm for over fifteen years. His practice spans environmental and natural resources law, governmental general counsel, civil litigation, business and corporate law, water law, land use, and employment litigation. Mr. Rael has litigated before the United States Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the New Mexico Court of Appeals. He has represented the State of New Mexico as lead counsel in multiple U.S. Supreme Court environmental cases and helped secure $790 million in funding for mine Superfund site clean-up. He also represents New Mexico in complex pharmaceutical and consumer protection matters. A graduate of New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico School of Law, Mr. Rael has been recognized as one of New Mexico's Forty Under 40 Power Brokers, the 2008 Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year, and a Southwest Super Lawyer for Business Litigation.
