Miguel Delgado is the founder and owner of Delgado Injury Law, a Las Vegas firm devoted to representing injured workers in Nevada's workers' compensation system. Born in Cuba, Delgado immigrated to the United States in 2004 and built his legal career from the ground up — studying business administration at community college before earning his J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, where he graduated with pro bono honors while working full time through his studies. During law school, Delgado's commitment to his community shaped his path: he served as president of the Nevada Justice Association, was vice president of La Voz, the Latino law students' organization, and volunteered on a human rights project with the Culinary Union. He gained practical experience through internships with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the Clark County District Attorney's Office, then completed a clerkship with the Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers — the state office representing injured employees — where he developed deep fluency in Nevada's workers' compensation system. In 2018, Delgado joined a local firm to build its workers' compensation practice, securing more than $3 million in settlements for clients. In 2021, he founded Delgado Injury Law, which has recovered over $10 million on behalf of its clients and holds a 5.0 Google rating across more than one hundred reviews. The firm serves Las Vegas's workforce with bilingual English and Spanish service, guiding clients through new, existing, and closed workers' compensation claims from its office near Sunset Park.
