Robin O. Brena

Complex litigation at the intersection of Alaska law, business, and regulation

Robin O. Brena is the owner and managing attorney of Brena, Bell & Walker, P.C., the Anchorage firm he founded in 1988. A lifelong Alaskan with more than 35 years in practice, he represents clients in complex trial, appellate, and regulatory matters at the state and federal levels. His work spans oil and gas, pipelines, public utilities, tax assessments, telecommunications, real estate, and commercial litigation. These matters often require an understanding of both the governing law and the business and financial questions behind a dispute. Brena's graduate training in business and law provides a distinctive foundation for that practice. In addition to his law degree from Willamette University, Brena holds an M.B.A. focused on accounting and finance and an LL.M. in real estate development and finance law from the University of Miami. His professional service has included chairing the Alaska Bar Association's real estate and estate planning and probate sections, teaching advanced business law at the University of Alaska, and guest lecturing at Willamette University College of Law. Brena's career centers on the legal and regulatory issues that shape Alaska's businesses, infrastructure, and property interests. He is included among MyLegalWin's 2026 Top Attorneys in America.
