Billy Robinett is a Partner at The Atlas Law Firm in Houston, Texas, where he brings a uniquely practical perspective to legal advocacy. For the first 20 years of his career, Billy directed the legal and risk department for a large national restaurant company, managing the entire portfolio of legal issues — from transactions to litigation — by designing policies, developing strategies, and executing solutions across a wide spectrum of legal and business challenges. He also consulted with other restaurant companies on their ongoing legal risks during that time. His deep experience in hospitality, employment, policy, contracts, franchising, mediation, investigations, and litigation management from the client's perspective gives him a rare advantage: he knows exactly what clients expect from their attorney. Billy completed law school while closing out his career in hospitality, and at South Texas College of Law he was a decorated trial advocate, winning multiple awards for trial advocacy and public speaking. He holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, summa cum laude, from the University of Houston Downtown.
